Hello.  We are Wendy and Greg.  We have been married for 6 years.  We live in the Salt Lake Valley of Utah, and we love it.  We love to hike, camp, river rafting and anything recreational.
We love going to the movies and eating out and spending time together in general.
Greg and I can't wait to start our family.  We have 9 nieces and nephews between the two of us, and we love them to pieces.
We have always wanted a family, and after years of the infertility route, we knew adoption was the answer to our eternal family.
We have so much respect and love for birth mothers and the amazing strength they must have to make such a difficult decision.
We would love for you to get to know our little family more....

Our Story

I think that our love story is actually kinda cute. Both our dads were in the US Military when we were kids and we moved around quite a bit. Our families used to live on the same military base in Northern Maine when Greg was born. Needless to say, our dads were great friends growing up and always wanted to get one of us together. It's actually really funny, but our dads had Greg go out with my older sister before I met him. I'm sure glad that didn't work out! Years later, Greg's older brother was getting married and my dad begged me to go with him. He said, "You have to come with me to this wedding! I really want you to meet Greg. He is such a HUNK!" Honestly, to please my daddy, I went. I am super glad I did because I met the man of my dreams and it changed my life forever.

All About Wendy!

Wendy is the funnest girl to be around.  The first time I was around her I realized that this was a girl I could never figure out.  So of course I married her, because I must know everything, she continues to surprise me with clever sayings.  One day when we were dating, the topic of brown nosing came up.  I said you are a big brown noser.  And she thought she had stuck her nose in the chocolate cake we ate.  I laughed myself stupid.  She can always bring me a smile.
Probably the greatest thing about Wendy is her perseverance.  She has overcome so much in her life.  When she was young she had a learning disability that all those around her considered her dumb or inferior.   She struggled with that her whole life.  When I met her she was convinced that she couldn’t get through college.  I always believed in her and witnessed the miracle of her believing she was something more than what others had told her, her whole life.  She finished with 4.0 in her Master’s program at the University of Utah in social work.  She enthusiastically helps people as a professional therapist at a well-known counseling center.  She faces her challenges head on.  It has inspired me to watch her rise so high.  What a great story of success I had no idea I married. And I am so glad I did. She is my best friend and I wouldn’t change a thing about her!

All About Greg!

Greg is such a fun-loving, energetic person. He truly has a heart of gold. I admire his ability to love, give, and empathize with those around him. If you are in need of a helping hand, Greg is always there to serve. From fixing a neighbor’s leaky faucet, to cheerfully attending community service activities, Greg certainly knows how to give. Greg’s joyful attitude helps me to see the good in the world and appreciate the bounteous blessings that I have been given.
When I first met Greg, not only was I attracted to his super big muscles, I also could not believe how beautifully blue his eyes were. His smile always brightens my day. Although Greg would claim that it drives me crazy, I truly love his silly and quirky sense of humor. It is just his way of expressing how much he loves and enjoys life.
Greg enjoys anything athletic. From baseball, basketball, football, tennis, you name it, Greg is good at it. Growing up, sports was his passion. He was the star baseball player since he was able to pick up a bat. Greg’s dad always brags about how talented Greg was at the sport. Although I didn’t have the opportunity very much, I loved watching him play ball in college while we were dating. Man, does he know how to hit a ball or what?!
Greg is passionate about his work. He enjoys the opportunity he has each and every day to work with his hands. He graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Construction Management. He is now the contracting owner of his construction business. He is such a hard worker and I admire his ability to work long, strenuous hours. Because of his incredible work ethic, I was able to focus on my schooling and finish my Master’s degree. Someday soon, Greg is going to build us a dream house of our own with his bare hands.
Greg, by far, is the most incredible person I know. I am so lucky to have him as my forever best friend. He has been my greatest supporter though all our trials together. I couldn’t ask for a better companion. I just can’t wait for the day for him to be a father and to see him bond with our precious little ones.
